Today!

Happy Birthday MOM!  I love you.  My mom turned 61 years young today.  My sisters and dad all went in and got her a Nook.  It's way cool and I think she loves it.
My sisters and nieces all came over today to make hair flowers.  We had a blast and they all turned out so cute.  Enjoy the pictures.

So much love in the air.  Sisterly love that is.

I have no words to describe this.

A birthday party wouldn't be a birthday party without Weston having cake on his face.
Caleb giving out kisses to the family for the first time.  He loves Huntre.
I have to give credit to Missy.  She was the first person other than me and daddy that he has kissed.
Before the party my sisters and nieces came over and made these adorable hair bows.  Lauren's looked awesome.

Girls Camp and more..

So I was asked to go to girls camp this year as the Craft director.  I know funny!  I've never thought of myself as being crafty, but I do enjoy doing crafts so it worked out.  Plus I had an amazing partner in crime.  Dabney from my ward was asked to work with me.  We had a fabulous time.  She was a blast to work with.  We decided we must work well together because neither one of us were stressed out.
The camp theme was Survivor Africa and the scripture was Joshua 1:9.  So, we made hair flowers with animal prints and decorated dog tags to wear around their necks.  They turned out super cute and the girls just loved them.
I left Thursday morning July 15th and got home late Saturday night around 8pm.  It was my first time ever leaving Caleb.  Before this trip I had never left him longer than 4 hours.  I hadn't weaned him before the trip and he did wonderfully.  I was more emotional than him I think.  He is a mommas boy, but Rob did a wonderful job keeping him busy.  Rob took care of him Thursday and Friday and my mom and dad watched him Saturday.
Wow I never realized how physically and emotionally hard weaning Caleb from the breast was going to be.  I had to pump while at camp.  The first night I had to wake up at 2am because I was drenched and I went into the craft cabin with a little flashlight and pump.  Ouch.  It was so scary.  I was alone in a big cabin with spiders all around my feet following the light from my flashlight.  Not the best experience, but I got through it.  The next night I just pumped extra long before I went to sleep and I was fine.
So, when I got home Saturday night my mom was nice enough to keep the baby awake so I could see him. I missed him so much.  Well he wanted nothing to do with me.  As soon as I took him he began to cry and wanted my mom back.  She took him back and he stopped crying.  Then I took him back and he wouldn't stop crying, so I just put him down to bed and he fell right to sleep.  I then continued to cry and feel sorry for myself for a few hours.  The next morning he woke up and things were back to normal except now I had to be strong and not give in.  I wanted to breast feed him so bad, but I stayed strong.  I cried off and on for two days.  Caleb would ask for it sometimes and I would tell him all gone.  After a few more days he stopped asking.
He now just goes to bed when I lay him down.  Before I rocked him to sleep.  He doesn't like being rocked anymore.  Kind of sad, but kind of nice at the same time.
I hope this wasn't to much info.  If so sorry.

Weaver family reunion!

It took us 10 hours to get to Pine Valley, UT and 8 hours to get home.  Caleb cried a total of 20 minutes on the way up and a total of ZERO minutes on the way home.  You read that right folks.  My son is an amazing traveler.  He did so wonderful that I can hardly believe it myself.
We had a wonderful time hanging out with all of Rob's mom side of the family.  His Aunt Michelle has a beautiful cabin, but there were to many people so Rob, Caleb and I stayed in a tent.  It was perfect weather for a tent and Caleb had fun.  I bundled him up super warm and he slept well.  He did wake up super early because of the sun, but that is to be expected.  Here are a few pics from our trip.  Enjoy.

The cabin.  It was super nice.

Our tent is the dome. front right tent.
Caleb's first motorcycle ride.  He loved it.

Uncle Bruce taking the boys on a ride.  I think Bruce enjoyed in more than the little boys.

Avery about the go down the slide.

Camping at Woods Canyon Lake

In the beginning of July Caleb and I went camping with my dad, Tiana and her kids Jaidyn and Logan.  We had a blast.  We went up to Woods Canyon Lake in Payson, AZ and enjoyed being one with nature.  My dad is a professional camper.  We eat like champs and always have the time of our lives.  Check out a few pictures from our trip.
Caleb never stopped moving.  99% of the time he had a rock or two sticks in his hands.  He was covered from head to toe in dirt and loved jumping off rocks.  We took him down to the lake and let him put his feet in the water.  He loved splashing around and didn't mind the cold water.  He takes after his mommy and is a true camper.

May and June!

So much has been going on lately.  We've moved.  We absolutely love our new home.  We moved Memorial weekend and I've been living in a construction zone.  Things have finally slowed down and we just have cosmetic touch ups to do at this point.  When I actually put somethings on the wall I'll take some pictures and post.

Rob is super busy.  If he isn't working then he is in school.  Caleb and I don't get to spend much time with him, but we know it's just temporary.  It will be all worth it once he is done.  That's what we keep telling ourselves at least.

Caleb is growing up right before our eyes.  He is just shy of 14 months.  It just amazes me how much he changes.  He does this silly grin all the time now and it just makes me laugh.  His 6th tooth is finally making an appearance on his top left and it makes his grin that much cuter.
We got Caleb a little pool for his birthday and he loves it.  First thing he wants to do when he wakes up is go splash around in his pool.  The water is always freezing, but it doesn't stop him. He finally loves to read books.  He wouldn't sit long enough for me to read or even flip pages of a book until a few weeks ago.  Now he loves it when mommy and daddy read to him.  His favorite books are the peekaboo books and anything with animals on it.
Caleb and I go on bike rides every morning before it gets to hot.  We both look forward to getting out and just enjoying the ride.

We have a busy month coming up.  I'm in charge of the crafts at girls camp this year for my stake.  I will be gone for 2 nights and 3 days without my precious baby boy.  I've never left him for longer than 4 hours, so this will be tough on the both of us I'm sure.  I'm excited, but sick to my stomach at the same time.  Wish Rob luck.
Then we have the Weaver family reunion at the end of the month in St. George UT.  I'm totally excited to get out of Dodge.  I literally have not been anywhere outside of town since last September.  I am in need of a vacation.

Jaidyn's birthday party!  She turned the magical age of 8.  Happy Birthday Jaidyn.

Isn't she beautiful?  She is super sweet too.

Jaidyn was baptized June 12th.  It was a wonderful day and I am so proud of her decision to be baptized.

Tylre's Highschool graduation!

Notice Caleb's right cheek.  Yes, he was bit.

Notice Caleb's fat lip.  Yes, he fell off my bed.

2nd time he has fallen asleep eating dinner.

Water logged diaper and cuddling with mommy.  Priceless.  We let him swim naked or we put the water diapers on him.  This was a one time thing and really funny if you ask me.

Before and after shots of daddy cutting Caleb's hair.  I think daddy needs a trim too.  Caleb was posing for the camera.  He has never done that before.

Ah OH!  His favorite word.

He likes playing in his crib now as long as I don't leave the room and we don't talk about night night.
