Merry Christmas!

Christmas is my favorite time of the year.  Especially spending it with my wonderful husband and baby boy.  Rob actually had 4 days off this Christmas.  It was absolutely wonderful.  We spent Christmas Eve day and night with my family and Christmas day with his.
My dad cooked up an amazing prime rib and it was delicious.  I made peppermint bark which turned out great, but the stuffed acorn squash was less desirable.  I was super bummed it didn't turn out.  My dad told me I'm like my Grandma Sarah always trying new recipes.  I take that as a compliment.
Caleb was a ton of fun this year.  He showed so much excitement for everything Christmas.  He could say, "Merry Christmas", but it sounded more like "Chris Merry Miss".  When he would see Christmas lights he would say, "KissMass".  He loved NoMan and Santa.  He was obsessed with the tree and would love to pull the ornaments off and throw them back at the tree.  We shared a lot of laughs and I'm blessed to be his mommy.
He loves "nanny"

I love how he is trying to open his presents with his tools.

My mom loves muumuus, but she hasn't had one in about 20 years.  Tiana and I got her this for Christmas and she cried.

My favorite picture!  My dad gave my mom a beautiful couples ring with his and her birthstones.

Jaidyn and Tylre being cute.
CHRISTMAS MORNING
Caleb got this amazing took set from my parents! He loves it.

Santa gave Caleb this adorable table and chair set.  He also got more blocks to add to his collection.

Rob liked his flannel I got him.

Santa gave Caleb the amazing green balance bike you see in the background and Rob and I got him his first of many I'm sure Thomas the Train sets.

Caleb played with his train set for hours.

Eby's Christmas with us! (Saturday before)

Lauren and Weston spent the Saturday before Christmas with us.  The cousins picked names out of a hat and went shopping for each other.  Tylre had Lauren picked one another, Huntre and Logan picked each other, Jaidyn picked Caleb, Caleb picked Weston, Weston picked Jaidyn.  They had a $10 limit and had a blast.
We opened presents first.  The kids loved being able to open a Christmas present a whole week early.  Then the Eby's also opened up their gifts from Grandma & Grandpa.   Then it was chicken time.  Then the kids decorated sugar cookies.  We all had a great time.  I'm so blessed to have such an amazing family and all my nieces and nephews are just so sweet.  I love them.

Caleb never got tired of the tree.  He threw anything and everything into it.  Not only my tree, but his grandparents Christmas tree too.  We have found little cars, toys, food, our remote controls, my phone and many other items in the tree.  Caleb is such a funny little boy and he sure loved his Christmas tree. He would turn the lights on every morning and wanted them on all day.  He made our Christmas so special.

Our California Trip!

I'm sort of catching up here.  We went to California two months ago and had a blast.  We stayed in a beautiful hotel in La Jolla.  The weather was warm and perfect.  We woke up super early on a Friday and drove straight to Sea World.  Caleb was a champ.  He loved loved loved Sea World.  He loves fish, so this was a real treat for him.
We went to the San Diego Temple and also went to the Mormon Battalion.  Rob did quite a bit of snorkeling and went on a night ride with some buddies.  All in all it was a wonderful and much needed vacation.  Caleb wasn't a huge fan of the water or sand, but the water was freezing anyway so it didn't really matter.  Plus who can lay out and enjoy the sun when you have a toddler anyway.
Enjoy the pictures!
I'm so blessed he is a good traveler.

We went to Baboa Park

They had birds that we were able to hold.  Caleb loves "bees"!

Caleb's 1st Trolley ride.  He wasn't to sure about it.  Wasn't as excited about it as I would have thought he would be.
